I thought it was pretty good overall. The troll montage at the end felt a lil awkward and I don't like Dave's voice but otherwise it was done p good for an animated adaptation.
I've seen a lot of people hating on it tho and I'm curious to hear thoughts from the old fandom :p
also please avoid vivziepop discourse on this post I just wanna have a discussion about the pilot itself.

I actually really liked it,
The original panel did confirm that the pilot would not be the first full episode (like almost all of the stuff spindle horse has produced.)
It did really feel rushed but it was just to give a proof of concept and introduce main characters. The stuff with the trolls that people seem to dislike seems mainly to show their takes on it to build hype and faith for those who were more interested in the trolls and such.
I loved the cast and thought it was great. The animation was solid and the strife and ending reel were definitely highlights.
Overall I loved my time with it, already bought some merch and have been using it to convert my friends!
I really cant wait for more.
Also I cant stop saying
"BOOM! There she fucks."
