First, I'd like to define two actions:
X\\Y := X&&(!Y). (\\ is abjunction: X\\Y returns bits that are in X, but not in Y.)
X==Y := !(X^^Y) (== is equivalency: X==Y returns bits identical between X and Y.)

wouldn't \\ be the same thing as ^^ alchemy? the way you explained it, it just seems like youre taking X out of Y, which iirc would result in you having a card only with the holes both cards don't have in common (which is how ^^ works, unless i did some very big mistake in reading how it works)
same with ==, the way it works sounds just like && alchemy

Nope, it wouldn't!

\\ is one-sided, not two-sided: [red apple]\\[tomato] returns an apple that isn't red, while [red apple]^^[tomato] would return an object that is an apple and a tomato (a fruit with an apple's texture and a tomato's taste, I presume?) but not red.

Actually, these wouldn't be fruit because apples and tomatoes are both fruit, and thus fruit-ness gets excluded.

Finally, == glues in traits that aren't present in the object, so I guess it's a "&& but also shit you'd get from &&'ing opposites" action.

I still can't really imagine how that would actually work. Alchemy is, like, a Physical Thing with actual punch cards so i doubt there's too much more you can do than that of the functions shown, unless you really fuck around with doing other stuff. but also i guess it doesnt matter because this is a fictional comic world.
