I mean I like Dave fine enough, he's got a lot of good things going for him and some genuine, on-screen pathos that affected me personally and I can't help but empathize and love him for that. But still. Why the fuck would he be that big of a douchebag he wouldn't even REALIZE that Spades Slick was fighting Union Jack WITH HIM, and discover that they're on the same team? He was never that oblivious before.

Ideally? There's a casino in carapace kingdom with the Alpha DD and CD as his replacement Midnight Crew. Ms.Paint makes a mural celebrating diversity in the main lobby of the casino itself. HB punches himself out of the horse calendar he has been trapped in outside of canon for years and rejoins the crew.

I have this wish fulfillment idea where Bec Noir needed a caretaker after Collide because the landing from PMs punch fucked up his back&hip+he has just one arm, so Ms Paint takes care of him. Spades Slick comes along and they get together because she loves him and that specific version of him. Slick constantly teases Bec for having two functioning arms and a robo-ass that works perfectly. They adopt a dog and Bec is the dog's weird uncle
