The story hooked me as soon as Vrasky showed up and the comic started making fun of how she took over the story. However the actual shenanigans going on are outside my sense of humor for the most part.

As a Satire of the Homestuck Fandom, it pulls off what it was going for much better than the idea of Candy and Meat to people (Of course, that's not what Candy/Meat were, but I digress). To boot, the plot is actually good and is intriguing enough that I want it to continue

I love every single thing about this comic. Seriously, its kind of amazing how much can it parody not only the original comic but himself too.

I would say it's less satire of Homestuck's fandom, and more parody of Homestuck itself, which includes making fun of fans sometimes because that's what Homestuck did too. It's noticeably different to Karkat goes to a convention, for example, which is much more about the fandom itself than Homestuck.
I'm not even sure i would call cool and new webcomic a parody, because of its plot. If I were to just imagine a parody of Homestuck, I would expect it to have a ridiculous exaggeration of Homestuck's complexity, where it just refers to weird and disparate events that happened in the past and future and talks about them all meaningfully connecting to eachother in a way that is completely incomprehensible. canwc actually makes sense though. In fact, i'd say that all of its original plot elements make more sense than Homestuck.

Ah, cool and new web comic. A flawed comic that tends to drag on with SBaHJey bullshit past its welcome sometimes, but I love it to DEATH. o has an impressive grasp over the nature of Homestuck and how to combine it with his strange corrupted world of daddies and hatedaddies while keeping a surprising amount of Homestuck spirit.
Also the comic features two songs by yours truly.

In retrospect I think CANWC has it's positives and negatives. Recent updates have thrown the story slightly beyond the reach of my imagination and what I think is possible, which is half good, but also could spell the sign of the story spiralling to a point where it can't really be concluded in any satisfying way, unless the next flash does what the last three have done and prove me wrong (And use two more of my songs, so I am too happy to complain.) We'll see, anyways.
A regular update schedule really would kick the CANWC fandom back into gear, probably. Don't know.
Please use more of my music o, there's so much.

I can't wait to see how O finishes off Acte 5 Act 1 with a bang. Itll be fascinating to see how Kanaya became enhanced at the end of the session.

I've read through CANWC twice and every time it's still as much of a ridiculous ride as I both expected and recall. The use of changing visual styles to denote 'normal' and SBAHJ-ified is a very cool concept and the whole situation with
Araded is by far the most enamored I have ever gotten with any kind of meta Homestuck idea, bar none. Holy shit how well done that was, I wish I could frame it all on a wall or shrine to admire forever it's absolutely amazing.
Always looking forward to more updates, I'm pretty hooked. Might read it again-again just because I can.

Super fun and interesting ride. Wasn't impressed by Aradia's flashy gifs and meta BS/sockpuppeting.

There is only one fan adventure that has ever captured the sheer thrill factor of Homestuck roughly around Act 4, and it's this one. The gags intermingled with the plot are some good shit too. If you're still in the greater HS community in 2019 and haven't read CaNWC up to at least the end of Act 1, well, there's no time like the present.

New CANMT album! I have no idea if making its own thread in Beyond Canon would be better, but I guess it still fits in ihere.

Every time I watch this I find something new to laugh my ass over about. Never thought I'd have so much investment in Karkat's SBAHJified self afterwards but
that's because he actually accomplishes an amazing moment that is a triumph for himself and his relationship with Jack is outstandingly fulfilling and meaningful to him which was both unexpected and nice
