Seriously though, I have a strange love-hate kind of relationship with douchebag characters. Like he is the perfect asshole character that fits so well on Alternia. How effective he could make the audience so uncomfortable it is funny. I sort of want to see more of him if Hiveswap/Hauntswitch does go farther in.

I know a dude irl who looks, acts, and probably smells the same as Zebruh so I have an irrational fucking fight or flight reaction whenever he appears and personally, I consider the Marvus route where he dies as the good ending

You see, it's because every moment with Zebruh is a bruh moment.

You can't even spell his name right. It's "Codakk".

In the case of a chracter designed to be hated, shouldn't hating on him be how we show appreciation?

Lots of people trash on Zebruh, but I think he's a brilliant villain. Especially with him being an influential music critic, I think he'll be among the most important and game-changing characters in Hiveswap. I hope Chixie shoots the fuck out of him.

I'll show some appreciation for the self-proclaimed gutterblood ally.

I honestly think they did a great job of creating someone who a terrible person, yet genuinely believes that he is doing the right thing. He is just the right kind of scum to be entertaining. They did a great job with his Friendsim route, particularly with how the second choice works.

I don't wanna be that guy, but knowingly coming into a thread that's basically a positivity quarantine for people who like a character and making it negative is kind of rude.

That being said, I believe Zebruh might have some potential if he got his act straight. I find that a lot of people don't like him because we've known someone like him in real life at one point or another. It's the reason we hate Zebruh more than we hate characters who have committed actual crimes and murder in Homestuck.

I find Zebruh very entertaining because he sucks, but he's funny in the way that he sucks. He's so over the top and thinks he's amazing for doing whatever he thinks he's doing. Love me that stink man.

I want his segway so I can T-Pose as I hover menacingly at people.

I think his route had a similar sense of humor to Cirava's, but it's better because Zebruh isn't an iffy stereotype of nonbinary people. I don't really feel like elaborating.
