I've only played a random smattering of Kirby games but I've seen a fuckton of those Kirby lore videos for some reason. Because I'm kind of stupid and aren't seeing it can you elaborate on where you see the similarities?

Well, just the whole deal with Zero, an incredibly powerful entity which lives in its own void of sorts, seeking to consume the inhabitants of the rest of reality, by sending out vessels of its power, only to be stopped at the end by one of these vessels turning against it (Uno instead of Gooey). Also there's an obvious similarity between the names "Zero" and "One", and the setting in general with all these voids with their own inhabitants and cosmic entities is kinda reminiscent of Kirby, imo.

Yeeeah now I see it that's pretty cool. And the Zero, One name comparison is pretty cool two.
