What is this?
To put it simply. Homestuck gold is a continuation of hit webcomic homestuck, that seeks to tie up loose plot threads while still telling its own original story.
Why should I care?
Damn fine question. Pretty hard to explain the cool shit that’s going to go down without spoiling everything but here’s a little rundown of things to expect:

Will I have creative control?
YES
When your name ends up in the ‘created by’ bit of the credits it’s gonna be for a reason. First thing that’s going to happen when you sign on is me asking you how you want things to go. Do you want any story docs? Do you want them to be vague or eye-wateringly specific? Do you think some story deets should change? Do you want lil storyboard sketches with the writing? Do you want to draw panels in batches or one at a time? By the end of this thing you are gonna feel as invested in this thing as I do. Cause without moola artistic passion is the only way this whole operation is gonna stay afloat.
Are there any requirements?
Aside from a basic (and I do mean basic) capability to draw, Nope! I’m fully aware artistic passion don’t pay the bills, so I really am good with anything. Beggars are physically incapable of being choosers.
How do I get involved?
Either send a message my way via discord (ID in profile description) or reply to this post. Simple as that. Even in the miracle this post gets multiple replies and I end up having to turn people down, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll be contacted in the future for animation/colab-based work. Cause bundling one artist with the responsibility of making all the drawings needed for an animation would be downright sociopathic
