How Do You Feel Your Point of Entry Has Influenced Your View on the Comic?

Examples of statements I've seen tossed around Tumblr/Twitter/Reddit/Discord:
1. People who joined after the retcon are more likely to view its effects positively than those who watched it play out live.
2. People who joined late-comic but pre-epilogues are usually not as happy with the epilogues as those who have followed HS from near the start.
3. DirkJake is viewed more favorably by upd8 readers than those who began reading after they broke up.
This is a lot of conjecture, ofc, and there's not much evidence for it one way or the other. And even if it were true, it'd be subject to individual differences. But I find the idea interesting enough to talk about.
