the horror terros all collectively vomited the moment this abomination came into being.

the duttle is one of the few items in Homestuck to cost 0 grist, desprite other (much less powerful) plush toys costing more


My headcanon is that if the Duttle's price were to match it's true value it would become uncraftable for it would take more grist then a player could possibly receive before their death.

Building the duttle is an exploit the devs never found
it actually costs so much that Sburb's memory breaks and wraps it all the way back around to zero, which lets you manipulate the FUCK out of the RNG

creating an infinite amount of duttles to smother the enemies to death and make a pile out of to reach the gates is kinda op pls nerf

This is known as an integer overflow and while It would not do much of anything to rng in most cases it is exactly what I was going to accuse of having happened here

I cannot forget about it because i set it as my youtube pfp and it has been for literal years. it is far too powerful. Hence its value integer overflowing to zero

You think integer overflows don't affect the Sburb rng? I dunno, you saw how crazy that session got man. Lots of people actually use the duttle exploit to bypass parts of the carapacian war on my any% runs, since the game assumes you're in debt and, thus, rebalances the number of black chess pieces to accommodate. Then again if you happen to roll a doomed session, it doesn't make too much of a difference, so on null% runs we usually tend to skip the duttle to save a few frames
