When my friends and I were big into pesterchum back in my early high school days, I devised a "quirk" so deceptively simple, but so deviously evil, that several of my friends refused to talk to me over pesterchum

The quirk was to change my text colour to the colour of whoever I was talking to. This trick ended friendships. It made it impossible to tell who was saying what or who's turn it was to speak without an annoying amount of effort, and, for whatever reason, the pesterchum coding let me do this to several people at once as long as I paid attention to sending a message, changing colour, sending another message, changing colour, and so on

typing so irrvevsebraly stupid thta novidy can even read my enssages.

i have big hands that constantly fuck up when i try to text people and eventually i just stopped correcting my typos which leads to things like me calling a cheeseburger a chee shurger

They capitalized the I in 'if'.

I had problems where using this quirk was more natural than the necessarily correct punctuation (actually sometimes I'll still slip into it without realizing). I don't know how to explain it... lowercase "i"s just don't belong at the beginning of words. Never had problems with "j" though.

I'd parenthisize every number after writing it, ie: twenty two (22).

Its simple, but enough for me.

Thinking about it, if I was a more original Troll, I'd likely have a quirk that rambled about inane shit with plenty of idioms and slang and all of that, but interspersed with more professional, complex writing.
