I rather lay on the ground at night and watch the stars because I have never been stargazing before

stargazing is just staring at the black sky because there's too much light pollution to see anything and then when you stand up you're all wet and soggy

Sounds like something a coward would say. Walk to a deserted forest in a nation park in the north. stand up straight and break your neck just marveling at the stars for hours. then you'll understand. Or be even less of a coward and find the nearest tall thing away from the city and climb it with one of those beach chair things on your back. Light pollution is a fool's problem

Amazing that you think that any forest can be deserted. even in a forest without animals, bugs, or even plants, there is still something there, watching, waiting for you to unguard yourself, like a knight slowly taking off way too much armor. When you do, and you will, eventually, he'll find you. And when he finds you, he'll dig his orange fingers deep into the very fiber of your existence and make you do whatever strikes his fancy at the time, until there is nothing but a narrative addicted husk remaining, unable to grow or change without textural strings puppeting you like one would pilot a mech, extricated from reality, unstuck from canon.
