Tagora is very good. Character-wise he's not my favorite of the tealbloods, but he is still a tealblood which means I have a soft spot for him. But his Friendsim was one of my favorites - I loved the rising fees gimmick. Also he and Galekh are gay. :]

Having a soft spot for Teals is good and pure! Any other color blood you can expect a certain kind of behavior but with Teals? You never know what kind of Gremlin they will be, other than the whole law thing. They might like memes! Or are Soccer Mom's in disguise! Tagora's hair is, objectively, the best hair on anyone in Friendsim--nay, Homestuck itself. Therefore, he is great.

I like characters who think they're better than other people, especially if they crumble in the presence of another person who's better than them. Social hierarchy is cool.
Friendsim routes are short, so they can't do more than give characters a couple traits to work with. Tagora's does better than some other routes, I think, in focusing on his main gimmick (sleazy lawyer-type in it for the money) and also including some other stuff to make him more interesting (insecurity, skin care, Galekh).

I guess I just don't really see it. I've never quite been a fan of characters with that kind of attitude. Never been my type of character I suppose. Carry on with your appreciations though.

I think it's not a surprise that he's a fave of mine since Zolf J. Kimblee is also a fave villain... especially when he's severely outclassed, just like tagora. Tagora's not that same degree of evil but he's got the same slimy self-interested prettyboy vibe. Frankly a Kimblee type reworked into a teal role could be a good ancestor for him I think. Does anyone have other ancestor ideas?

I think when it comes to Tagora he's a very... you get what you get kinda character. I personally love the sleazy bastard lawyer gimmick of his but for someone who's not so into that sort of character it probably won't click.

In all seriousness I just like how he's a sleazy lawyer boy who's very interested in vampires and how he's implied to hang out with mspar and give them gifts bc he falls for mspar when they look vaguely like a vampire and scare off his crush likes their way of handling things.
