Qui-Gon Jinn really fucked up the galaxy huh

I'm watching Star Wars for the first time and I decided to start with Episode 1.
Literally EVERYONE except Anakin's mom has been telling him how much of a bad idea it is to train this kid. He's too old, he's this, he's that, and the other thing. Yet Qui-Gon is just pushing and pushing, no i want to train this kid, he's the chosen one, he HAS to be a jedi.
Like fuck if he could just take no for an answer Darth Vader never would have happened. Hell, he even casts aside Obi-Wan when he sees an opportunity to train this chosen one. I know he means well but holy shit Qui-Gon you really goofed.

In one way or another, Anakin would have brought balance to the force. Even if Qui Gon didn't train him, Palpatine would have eventually found the kid and trained him personally. However, that would have put Sheev at a disadvantage since Sith masters constantly have to look over their shoulders and sleep with one eye open. Regardless, Anakin was gonna end up murdering a shitton of Jedi.

Also why do people keep calling palpy Sheev? I've heard it used in youtube videos and stuff.
Don't tell me if it's a spoiler though, I only have a general zeitgeist knowledge of star wars (clones, I am your father, the sequels suck)

Man Qui-Gon is hot. He's almost as chad as Luigi.

Oh holy shit I never knew that existed. Thanks! I probably won't use it for the adventures still because I don't like the view count thing but for other posts that's rly rly helpful and time saving.
