Re: lore questions and answers thread
so is ectobiology really necessary in sburb or not? from what I've seen ectobiology was more of a tool that players are able to utilize but isn't necessary to beat sburb instead of a major necessary step in the game's process. also, were there other sburb sessions on earth besides the kids session?...

Re: lore questions and answers thread
Why do the Rings of Life and Void exist? Like, I've gathered that they're basically the unprototyped Queens' Rings, what I'm wondering is why they have the powers they do, what benefit is it to Sburb to give them these abilities? Also, why does Sburb even have Sprites^2 as a mechanic intrinsic to i...

Re: Unpopular Opinions Thread
I've said it before and I'll say it again - everything in Homestuck is a joke until Hussie decides it isn't, and for Bro that really messed some stuff up.

Re: Broken Troll Worldbuilding discussion
Everything in Homestuck was a joke, until it wasn't. This is simultaneously both its biggest strength and greatest flaw.

I don't think the Epilogues treated any of its antagonistic figures well.

> the ancestor explanation was so bad it made me want to quit reading homestuck when i got to it. it's ok if you like it though, i just personal found it boring. I like ancestors conceptually but Mindfang's journal is so unbelievably dull that even though I've re-read Homestuck about five times it ...

Re: THE VRISCOURSE THREAD
And yet, while I don't follow Dirkcourse much, I hear much less bitching about all the things Dirk has done wrong, and I think it's because we have learned to believe Dirk is the Protagonist; or at least an antihero. I agree with most of your post, but I think the core difference here is that the a...

Re: Classpect discussion
I'm an asshole that hates fun and wants to be right all the time. There's a whole lot of complex reasons (including an entire google document) as for why I chose this particular Classpect but that's the gist of it.

Re: Hiveswap Trolls Friendsim Tier List Thread
I just thought most of the Friendsim trolls were Just There. I do like the Soleil twins but outside of their own category they're more reasonably a B or something. The people in E I found a little difficult to like but I was mostly bored by then than anything, I dislike the ones in F but found them ...

Re: THE VRISCOURSE THREAD
ok guys so like, why do you even care? like i'm not saying this to be mean, I'm just genuinely curious. why do the ethics of a fictional anti-hero mean this much to you? I don't. I don't really care about Vriska herself, I care about how the narrative treats her, and people who police others based ...

Re: lets talk about clowns/subjugs
Unless the religious figures of their religion ISN'T actually lord english. Just that the narrative, or lord english deliberately, wrote over their true gods. This isn't possible because Kurloz, who hails from a planet without Lord English's influence, still worships him. also if u think abt it clo...
