It kinda feels like they're intentionally trying to split the base, or anger people who actually enjoyed pre-Epilogues Homestuck, or especially people who enjoyed Acts 1-5. Really I don't think there's a clear-cut "better" between the two. I personally prefer act 6 but I see why people dislike it. I really just wish some of the authors stopped treating people who prefer acts 1-5 like trash.

Granted, everyone suddenly thinks Homestuck is God's gift to humanity. All criticism is dropped, the authors are blindly praised, and consequently, the quality of Homestuck^2 and Hiveswap nosedives in quality, as none of the people working on it feel like they need to try.
